The Meaning of Life

When God created humans, he realized that we would have questions. As he wanted us to search for our own answers and grow our knowledge, instead of always turning to him, he decided to hide.

First he hid deep inside the earth. Then realized we'd dig and find him there.

Then he hid in outer space. And then realized it was only a matter of time before we found him there too.

So he decided to hide in plain sight. He decided to hide all around us. In the trees, the grass, the birds and the animals. And just to be safe, he hid inside each of us.

To find the answers that we are looking for, we must look inside. It is only when we ask ourselves these tough questions, that we will get the answers. The answers we've been looking for. Perhaps even, the meaning of life itself.

Hmmmm......I think God is not hidden; I think he is right there for us; Bible says if we seek him, he will be found. He is in everything indeed, but he definitely wants us to come to him with our questions and amazingly he even answers them too, including the meaning of life itself.

I hope you are enjoying fall Stew

Stew, this was fun! Where did God hide? You could be a Sunday school teacher.
I have tried a number of ways to 'find the meaning of life' and have finally realized that it is right in front of us, if we just look around and see we are a part of everything there is in the universe and beyond.

god, the great spirit, the meaning of life...whatever one wants to call it...you're so right...it's within each of us...and a part of everything around us. we are all one, connected. it's too bad not everyone SEES it this way. i think the world would be a more peaceful place.

beautiful...thoughtful...post Stew!!!!! =)
happy sunday!

I've thought for a long time that god is in everything. I rather like the idea of asking a tree for answers!
