Just because someone is cremated, doesn't mean they can't have a coffin, casket or even a service. It is a huge misconception that you can't have a funeral if you are cremated. And that a funeral is for he dead. It is the people left to cherish the memories that the funeral is really for. Even if it's a cardboard box, we all have to go out in something.

Certainly adds something different to the 'setting'!
Perhaps as the number of cremations increases and coffin sales decline, more unique ways of using them will be discovered.
