Someone once said,
"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good . Love the people who treat you right, pray for/forgive those who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
I wish that someone was me that said that first. But I'm happy to repeat it. I would add that when that time comes in your life, then, you've reached maturity.
I hope that you are surrounded by the people that make you laugh daily.

I'm lucky to have a loving, caring partner who knows exactly how (and when) to make me laugh. I'm working on appreciating what I have. Took me a LONG time to get here.
Love it. I realized this at 33 years of age, after I coded in the hospital. That was ten years ago and I sure did learn to do some life-editing after that experience.
I'm probably vastly different from your world...I'm a simple Texas woman, but I sure do love your blog.
I want to say welcome to the brighter side to all our new friends that have been visiting lately. I read and appreciate all of your comments.
Lovely quote! I told my boss when he hired me, "I deal with stress with humor, if that is going to be a problem, I am not the woman for this job. It doesn't mean I don't take my work seriously, I've just learned getting angry or upset doesn't make the situation better."
Cheers Stew!
