What is there, that I can say about this?
Every time I walk through an antique shop, I feel as though I am walking through my parents basement. While some of the things from my youth will be saved and cherished, still others will end up in a shop somewhere. So there is definitely some truth to what this sign states.

I can't believe how funny I found that! Thank you for the laugh.
Of course, they ARE dead people's things. But the sign is wonderful.
Calling it like it is I guess. Nothing like going straight to the point!
In my view antiques are never really owned merely "looked after"
I have to appreciate their honesty with what their store offers. The house I'm living in currently, lots of things will eventually end up in an antique store or consignment shop or estate sale, etc. But you know what they say, "one man's junk is another man's treasure"
hope you are doing well
betty
I have some antique money in my wallet, Stew.
I'm hoping it will become more valuable the longer I leave it in there. (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)
Thank you for the morning hearty laugh! Funny but true isn't it?
Antiques have history and stories behind them. Which is why I love them.
